The First Alert SMICO100-AC is a professional-grade, hardwired combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm designed for comprehensive residential safety. Featuring a 120V AC connection with a 9V battery backup, this unit ensures continuous protection even during power outages. It utilizes advanced Precision Detection technology to meet UL 217 8th Edition standards, significantly reducing nuisance alarms from cooking while providing early warning for fire and CO threats. The Smart Interconnect feature allows for seamless integration with up to 18 compatible devices, ensuring that when one alarm sounds, all connected units respond throughout the facility.

Interconnectable w/all BRK smoke & co alarms. Direct wire-in with 9V battery backup. Hardwired with battery backup for protection during power outages. Perfect mount for easy installation. Mounting bracket keeps the alarm secure over a wide rotation range for ideal alignment. Latching alarm indicator, visually identifies unit that initiated alarm or low battery. Smart Interconnect, interconnects with most First Alert and BRK hardwired alarms. When one alarm sounds, all compatible* alarms sound (up to 12 smoke alarms and 6 other CO/heat alarms). Test/Silence Button, temporarily silence or test the alarm with one-touch easy access button. Dust cover, keeps the alarm clean during construction. This unit complies with UL217 8th edition standards.
