The Makita XT269M 18V LXT Brushless 2-Piece Combo Kit is a high-performance solution designed for professional drilling, driving, and fastening applications. This kit features a versatile 1/2-inch hammer driver-drill with 530 in-lbs of max torque and a compact impact driver delivering 1,500 in-lbs of torque, both powered by efficient brushless motors for extended run time. Included are two 4.0Ah batteries with integrated LED charge indicators and a rapid charger that reaches full capacity in just 40 minutes. Star protection is communication technology that allows the star protection equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating. For increased versatility, the tool can also be powered by Makita 18 V LXT® and compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol on the battery indicating star protection inside. 18 V LXT® 4 Ah batteries (BL1840 and BL1840B) are compatible only with star protection tools, indicated by the star symbol and/or yellow battery receiver under the tool.
