Southwire Type SEU Service Entrance Cable is engineered for primary power delivery from the service drop to the meter base and from the meter base to the distribution panelboard. This 500-foot reel features 2/2/2 AWG Alumaflex® 8000 series aluminum alloy conductors, providing a lightweight and cost-effective alternative to copper for residential and commercial applications. The cable is protected by a sunlight-resistant gray PVC jacket and is suitable for use in wet or dry locations at temperatures up to 90°C. Compliant with UL Standard 854 and NEC requirements, it ensures reliable performance for service entrance and branch circuit installations.

Used to convey power from the service drop to the meter base and from the meter base to the distribution panelboard. Also may be used for certain branch circuits as permitted by the NEC. Suitable for use at temperatures not to exceed 90 deg C in wet or dry locations. Meets or exceeds UL Standard 44 for Type XHHW-02 conductors or UL Standard 83 for Type THHN/THWN, UL Standard 854, Federal Specification A-A-5944 and NEC requirements.
